Professional biography

Barnes has been at Meredith College for 10 years teaching undergraduates and MBA’s. Her research interests are in leadership and ethics, and she has won a national award for her research on human resource management and supply chain management. Prior to coming to Meredith, she spent 20 years at AT&T in management positions in finance and operations. In addition to her Ph.D. in Strategic Human Resource Management, Barnes also has a J.D. and an MBA.
