Work Experience

Alexandra joined Meredith College faculty in 2016 as an Assistant Professor in Fashion Merchandising and Design. Prior to joining the faculty, Alexandra was a Lecturer at Columbia College Chicago. Her dissertation research focused on Iranian immigrant women's dress practices after immigration to the United States. This work has been presented at the American Collegiate Retailing Association and the International Textile and Apparel Association. She has a forthcoming publication in the Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences for her research on adult women's appearance management techniques. Alexandra is an active member of the International Textile and Apparel Association.
