Crystal joined the Meredith Autism Program (MAP) staff after graduation in May of 2003 as a preschool shadow & one-one-one trainer. Within a year, she promoted to Team Supervisor and then to Behavior Consultant overseeing the programming for children enrolled in the MAP. In 2006, she assumed the role of sole Workshop Consultant and worked closely with Pre-K and Elementary school staff in New Hanover County, implementing the principles of ABA and discrete trial teaching in classrooms to effectively teach students on the autism spectrum. After a short hiatus, Crystal has returned to MAP as a Behavior Consultant and obtained the national certification of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®). Crystal graduated with distinction from Capella University with a masters of science in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in June, 2017. She has since obtained the national certification of Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®).
