Cammey Cole Manning earned her Bachelor of Science with majors in Mathematics and Computer Science at Duke University. She completed her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Computational Mathematics at North Carolina State University. She has been actively involved in the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). Additionally, she has been involved for over a decade with programs, particularly those for students, at the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI). She continues to be active in research, most recently publishing in the Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering journal.
