Dance Studies Courses
All candidates for the Dance Studies major must complete a series of general education requirements as well as the 40 credit hour core curriculum in dance, and a set of electives or requirements for one area of concentration in dance. This document reflects the Dance Studies Major beginning with the 2008-2009 academic year.

ELECTIVE OPTION -- 20 credits
The Core Curriculum paired with the elective option prepares the dance artist for a broad range of opportunities including performance, choreography, production, further study in graduate school or certificate programs, and performing arts administration. The program allows students to tailor their educational experiences toward their particular career goals.
