Help change the world without leaving campus.
Join the World Community Grid.
World Community Grid is a public-computing network developed to assist researchers in developing new treatments for cancer, HIV/AIDS and other issues of global concern.
Developed in 2004 and hosted by IBM, the grid allows participants to donate idle computer time to researchers around the world.
Meredith College is the first college or university in North Carolina to become a World Community Grid educational partner. Meredith students, faculty/staff and alumnae are encouraged to join and contribute their idle computer time to help bolster humanitarian research.
