Ambassador Nancy Goodman Brinker Lecture – April 21, 2010
Nancy Goodman Brinker, founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, UN Ambassador for Cancer Control, and former US Chief of Protocol and Ambassador to Hungary, will deliver Meredith’s 2010 Woman of Achievement Lecture as part of The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Presidential Lecture Series at Meredith College. Brinker will speak on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
The event is free and the public is welcome; however, tickets are required because of limited seating.
How to Get Tickets:
Meredith Students, Faculty and Staff are eligible to reserve three tickets (for themselves and two guests) on a first-come, first-served basis from their Meredith e-mail account. Email brinkertickets@meredith.edu to reserve tickets.
Then, pick up your reserved tickets on April 21. Ticket distribution will begin at 10 a.m. in the lobby of Jones Auditorium. Tickets will be held until 60 minutes before the lecture begins. Any tickets not picked up by 6 p.m. will be released on a first-come, first-served basis.
