Cornhuskin’ 2011 Policy for Spectators
Meredith College’s annual Cornhuskin’ tradition will take place on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011. In order to make Cornhuskin’ a successful event for students, the campus community and guests, the College has created spectator guidelines for the Cornhuskin’ Parade and the Cornhuskin’ competition.

 

Faculty/Staff: Meredith faculty and staff must RSVP via email for a limited number of reserved seats in the amphitheater. RSVP and subsequent event entry instructions will be sent via email to all faculty and staff in the week prior to Cornhuskin’.

Annual Employee Benefits Fair
Meredith College’s annual Employee Benefits Fair will be held Thursday, October 20, from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on the west side of Belk Dining Hall.
 
Employees are invited to learn more about benefit options for 2012. There will be opportunities to visit with benefit vendors. In addition to benefit information, the Benefits Fair will feature free chair massages, free flu shots and prizes from vendors and local companies.

This event marks the official beginning of the open enrollment period for 2012 benefits. Open enrollment will continue through November 23, 2011. Renewal information will be available soon.

 

Fall All Staff Meeting October 18
The Fall 2011 All Staff Meeting will be held Tuesday, October 18, from 3– 4 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. This event is sponsored by the Staff Affairs Committee.
 
 Come for the Refreshments:  2:30 – 3 p.m.

  • Assorted Cheeses, Flatbreads, Crostini, Bruschetta and Spreads
  • Goat Cheese Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
  • Assorted Scones and Biscuits with Savory Accompaniments
