Support the Faculty and Staff Giving Initiative

Thank you to our 130 faculty and staff donors who have already made a gift to Meredith this fiscal year!

“We all give generously of our time and energy to Meredith—and in recent years we have been called on to do more with less. This makes your financial support all the more meaningful, because it indicates your willingness to go the extra mile for this institution, when you already do so much every day.” -Gaye Hill, Marketing Content Strategist, Employee Member, The Meredith Fund Advisory Board

We truly appreciate your dedication. Each member of the faculty and staff is instrumental to the success of the College. As a campus community, we work together to help students reach their goals. An additional way we can contribute toward their success and make a lasting impact on Meredith is by making a gift.

And, it is not too late for faculty and staff donors to receive a stainless steel mug and free warm beverages from the BeeHive! For every employee who makes a minimum gift of $2/month for one year on payroll deduction, The Meredith Fund Office would like to say thank you with this special mug. Additionally, Aramark will honor your commitment with a free warm beverage each weekday morning (7:30-9:30 a.m.) through November 9. Just go to the BeeHive with your Meredith Fund travel mug and choose between coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate or cappuccino!

Frequently Asked Questions

I work here—why should I make a gift to my employer?
Faculty and staff participation percentage is a consideration for corporations and foundations when deciding whether to award Meredith College with funding for scholarships, professorships, or major college projects. Making a gift is another opportunity to demonstrate our own commitment to the importance of Meredith for our students and our colleagues.

What are ways I can designate my gift?
Most faculty and staff choose to give to The Meredith Fund in order to provide support for campus priorities. Unrestricted gifts enable the College to fund areas of critical need and take advantage of unexpected opportunities that will benefit our students and the College. If you would prefer that your gift be designated for a particular fund/area, simply note your preference when making your gift.

How much should I give?
Any amount that feels comfortable for you. Participation is truly our number one goal each year. Every gift will make a difference.

What is payroll deduction?
Payroll deduction is one of the most convenient and popular ways to give to Meredith. It allows you to make an annual pledge by having a certain amount deducted each paycheck. When completing the payroll deduction form, you specify the amount you would like automatically deducted from each paycheck, the start date, and where your support should be designated. You can have an amount deducted until further notice or until a specific total has been reached.  You can complete a payroll deduction form by clicking here.

Can I give my gift to more than one area?
Absolutely! When making your gift, identify the areas/fund and the amount you wish to give to each.

Thank you very much for supporting Meredith College!
