Presidential Search Update

Elizabeth BeamMarch 15, 2011

To the Meredith Community,

On behalf of the Presidential Search Committee, I am pleased to report that the search is going well and is on track.  We have been pleased by the interest of so many fine candidates who have chosen to be engaged in the search.  The committee has interviewed a slate of strong candidates and has recommended finalists to the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees.

The Meredith Community has been central to this process, and we are genuinely grateful. Comments in both the forums and survey were read and noted.  The trends found in those comments were the basis for the candidate specifications and interview questions for candidates came from the specifications.

Constituencies were well represented by committee members nominated by the different groups. My appreciation goes to the committee for their thoughtful consideration, diligence and perseverance.
