Analytics Support Meredith Website
While the Meredith campus was closed for the holidays in December, the College still received many “visitors” via the web. In December 2010, the Meredith College website (meredith.edu) recorded 22,415 unique visitors. So, who are these visitors?

  • 40% were new visitors to meredith.edu
  • 48% used a search engine to visit meredith.edu
  • The majority came from the United States with visitors also coming from Canada, India, England, China, Columbia, Italy, The Philippines, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia
  • Many came from cities outside North Carolina including New York, Atlanta, Washington, Richmond, Jacksonville, Nashville and Los Angeles.

The Department of Marketing uses Google Analytics to monitor the reach and effectiveness of the website. This data is used to support Meredith’s web-based recruitment and fundraising efforts.
