Alumnae Help Prospective Students “Discover Meredith”

Students walking on campusAlumnae are some of Meredith’s best recruiters because alumnae know first- hand the value of the Meredith education.

A special event called “Discover Meredith, which was held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, gave alumnae an opportunity to help prospective students learn about the College.  The day featured an update on Meredith presented by President Jo Allen, ’80, campus tours, and a panel discussion featuring alumnae and students.

Nearly 100 people attended, including 36 prospective students. Several of these students have already made the decision to apply to Meredith. Special thanks to the alumnae who participated in “Discover Meredith.”

Alumnae can continue to be Meredith College ambassadors by introducing prospective students to Meredith, and providing a voucher that waives a student’s application fee.
