Meredith to Hold Grad School Workshop

Meredith College will hold “Your Path to Success:  Overcoming Roadblocks to Graduate School,” a workshop designed to help prospective graduate students overcome the roadblocks keeping them from applying for advanced study. The free workshop will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. until noon in Kresge Auditorium.

10:00 a.m.  - Welcome
10:10 – 10:40 a.m. - Demystifying the Application Process
10:45 – 11:05 a.m. - Preparing for Graduate Admissions Tests
11:05 – 11:20 a.m. – Financing Your Graduate Education
11:20 – 11:45 a.m. – Balancing Graduate School and Work/Life Demands
11:45 – 11:55 a.m. – Closing Remarks
12 - 1 p.m. – Informational Booths

 

Presenters include Senior Vice President for Academic Administration Denise Rotondo; Nealie Tebb, Master of Nutrition Program Manager and Admissions Counselor;  Erin Barrow, Graduate Education Program Manager and Admissions Counselor; Kevin Michaelsen, Director of Financial Assistance; Page Midyette, Director, MBA Program; and Allison Anthony, MBA Recruiter.

 

Faculty and staff are encouraged to invite prospective graduate students to attend the workshop. The event is open to the general public and Meredith undergraduates.
