Quick Summer School Facts
Summer School allows students to catch up or get ahead on course work, handle general education requirements, or explore areas of interest. Faculty and staff who speak with students who would benefit from attending summer school can share these quick facts about this summer’s offerings.

  • New federal policies have made Pell grants available for summer school. A student who is eligible for PELL during the regular academic year may qualify for up to $1,665 for summer. Contact the Office of Financial Assistance for more information at finaid@meredith.edu or (919) 760-8565.
  • Summer school undergraduate tuition is substantially less per credit hour than tuition for part-time courses during the regular semester.
  • Residence hall space is readily available in the summer for reasonable fees geared to the summer school calendar.
  • Summer courses at Meredith are taught by the same highly-qualified faculty students know and love during the regular year.
