Celebrity Chef Rachael Ray to Appear at Meredith

Celebrity chef and TV host Rachael Ray will visit Meredith College as part of a Quail Ridge Books event co-sponsored by Meredith’s Friends of the Library on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Ray will be interviewed on stage by Lisa Prince of UNC-TV's “Flavor, NC.” The interview will be followed by an audience Q&A session. Ray’s latest book is “My Year in Meals,” which features what Rachael Ray cooks when the cameras aren’t rolling. From the meals she whips up at a moment’s notice to family feasts, and dishes inspired by her travels around the world, you can now enjoy twelve incredible months of Ray’s homemade favorites.

The ticketed event will begin at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m., and seating is general admission.

Ticket Information: Quail Ridge Books customers can get a ticket to the event with the purchase of a copy of “My Year in Meals” (book comes with free ticket) OR paying $5 for a ticket only.

A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for Meredith faculty, staff and students. Email events@meredith.edu or call ext. 8533.
