Dear Meredith Colleagues,

 

As we all come together to prepare for the new school year, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your contributions to The Meredith Fund in 2011-12. Our employee participation rate was 32%! This is a significant increase over the 26.7% rate the previous year, so thank you.

 

We all give generously of our time and energy to Meredith—and in recent years we have been called on to do more with less. This makes your financial support all the more meaningful, because it indicates your willingness to go the extra mile for this institution, when you already do so much every day.

 

This year, our goal for employee giving is 50%. It will be a challenge, but I am confident that we can reach this goal together. Please remember that your participation is what matters, not the size of your contribution. Every gift is important and will help us reach our goal.

 

A kickoff for employee giving is coming in the fall, so stay tuned for more information—and some new treats! Also, as you know, Erin Cleghorn has recently joined our community as director of The Meredith Fund and she is looking forward to meeting you all.
