Meredith Campus to Celebrate Student Achievement on April 14

Meredith College's annual Celebrating Student Achievement event will be held on Thursday, April 14. The event will focus on student achievement in academics, the arts, leadership and all aspects of college life.

 

The day begins with a breakfast and poster session from 7:45 – 9:15 a.m. in Johnson Hall Rotunda, and ends with departmental and school award ceremonies from 6-8 p.m. In between, dozens of Meredith College students will share results from their research experiences.

 

Highlights include:

• Students in the Duke-Meredith Research Partnership will present their research experiences from 10:15-11:15 a.m. in SMB 162. Meredith recently received a grant from the Jessie Ball duPont Foundation to fund ......more

Tony and Emmy Award winner Twyla Tharp will present Meredith College's 2011 Woman of Achievement Lecture on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 7 p.m. in Jones Auditorium. The lecture is part of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Presidential Lecture Series at Meredith College. more
