SHRM, which is open to all business majors, is affiliated with the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association. SHRM also offers a mentor program, as well as visits to corporate sites. Other opportunities include networking, learning interview skills, and benefiting from professionals’ experiences. SHRM strives to create a link between the classroom and the professional world.

Members are nominated at the end of each academic year by all business majors at Meredith.

The board plans special functions and projects, takes a leadership role in School activities, and works to improve communications between faculty members and students.
