Meredith College Hosts NC State HRGames

The NC State HRGames will be hosted by Meredith College on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Competition will be held in Harris from 9:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with the final match in Kresge at 2:30 p.m. Colleges from around the state will battle in Jeopardy! style competition. The HRGames consist of matches between teams of three undergraduate students from various colleges and universities. The questions for the matches are divided into categories similar to those used in the PHR certification exam (i.e. Management Practices; Selection & Recruitment; Training & Development; Compensation & Benefits; Employee/Labor Relations; and Health, Safety & Security.

Winning teams at the state level earn the right to compete at the regional competitions.
