Elizabeth Alexander studied European Business Strategy in Denmark. She worked on a
marketing project about Deltek, an international software company that focuses on project-based
organizations as well as professional service organizations. Elizabeth's major is Business Administration.

Sydney Benjamin
Sydney majored in Business Administration major and minored in HR. She spent part of her summer 2010 in Copenhagen, Denmark where she studied European Business Strategy. The course included field trips to Brussels, Belgium for tours of IBM, Duvel's Brewery, and the European Parliament where students had the opportunity to meet Parliament members. The trip was an unforgettable experience that gave her a deeper understanding of European business and the global marketplace.

Liza Fisher
Liza Fisher, Business Administration major, is pictured below in London with her European Business Strategy classmates and at the harbor in Copenhagen. The summer of 2010 she completed two business courses in Denmark. In Sustainability and CSR, the class made several field trips to firms such as Arla Foods (dairy products), Grundfos (water pumps) and Nokia (telecommunications). A course in European Business Strategy included presentations by Danish business executives who discussed setting up a branch in France and the challenges of working with both French and Danish employees. This was followed by a trip to London to study issues about UK firms investing in France.

Sarah Hauth
Sarah Hauth traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark the summer of 2010 to study European Business Strategy. This course focused on the European Union and a variety of European firms including SAS (a European airline) and Danisco (food enzymes).
Sarah is shown below in front of The Atomium, originally built for the World Fair in 1958 and now a symbol for Europe’s Capital. Sarah completed a double major in Business and Economics with a Finance minor.
