Career: "While at Meredith, my interest in opening my own business grew more than I ever expected.
Entrepreneurship runs in my family -- my dad owns his own business that I have worked in since I was young.
I knew it was something that I wanted to do someday; I just didn't know when or what! My professors,
while I was at Meredith, gave me the tools, knowledge, and passion to open a store where I enjoy
going to work every day. I opened a pet boutique in Cary, NC in August, 2012, with my sister and future
brother-in-law -- Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming."

Major: Business Administration
Accomplishments: "CMA-CGM was very impressed with my resume and interviewing
skills, which I attribute to the many workshops provided by Meredith's Career
Center. Meredith's Business faculty, especially Dr. Liao and Dr. York, gave me
the real-world insight I needed to speak confidently during my interview process
at CMA-CGM. The internship I participated in while at Meredith gave me experience
in an office environment and reinforced software training I had received in BUS 250.
At Meredith, I was inducted into the honor society Omicron Delta Epsilon."
