BIOLOGY 322 AND 342
TEXTBOOK: Anatomy and Physiology, The Unity of Form and Function by Saladin 3rd Edition.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Study of the structure and function of the major tissues, organs, and organ systems of the human body.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Human Anatomy and Physiology is a lecture/laboratory study of the functional anatomy of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, neural, endocrine, reproductive, cardiovascular respiratory and renal systems; acid-base balance and fluid-electrolyte balance will also be explored. Emphasis will be placed on the relationships between structure and function within and between systems and the processes of homeostasis. Pathophysiologic correlations will be introduced in order to relate normal function to disease processes.
