The mission of the Meredith College Autism Program (MAP) is to provide a behavioral intervention in which children with autism can develop to their fullest potential, provide undergraduate students experience and education in the field of autism, while validating and expanding the current research.  The structure of this behavioral intervention uses operant conditioning methods and discrete trial teaching specifically applied to children with autism as based on the works of Ivar Lovaas.
