Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team hosted N.C. Wesleyan in their 'Dig Pink' game on Wednesday. The Battling Bishops defeated the Avenging Angels 3-0.

Meredith was led by Morgan White with 10 kills and seven digs. Emily Anderson had 13 digs and one service ace.

The 'Dig Pink' volleyball event helped to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event promoted Breast Cancer education by encouraging players and fans to wear pink t-shirts, distributing educational materials, collecting donations, and focusing on how individuals can help.

Meredith next has their home regular season finale and senior night as they host Methodist on Tuesday October 20 at 7 p.m.
