Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference released their player of the week awards. Morgan White was named the USA South Volleyball Player of the Week. The Avenging Angels are coming off of a 3-1 week of play.

Morgan White, Meredith - The senior outside hitter from Raleigh, North Carolina averaged 3.5 kills, 3.6 digs and 0.4 service aces per set last week as the Avenging Angels posted a 3-1 record. In a 3-2 win over USA South rival Peace, White tallied a double-double with a match-high 21 kills and a team-high 21 digs. She also added three service aces, two assists and one block in the victory. In a 3-0 win over Randolph, White recorded four kills, one dig and one service ace in just two sets played. In a 3-1 loss to USA South foe Averett, White totaled a match-high 17 kills, a team-high 18 digs and one block. Finally, in a 3-0 victory over USA South foe Mary Baldwin, White contributed seven kills, ten digs, one assist and one block.
