Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team hosted ODAC member Randolph on Thursday night. The Avenging Angels picked up their fourth win in a row defeating the Wildcats 3-1.
Meredith (9-11) came back from a deficit in the first set to win it 25-23 and cruised to a 25-15 win in the second. Randolph (0-16) answered in the third winning 25-27. The Avenging Angels finished the Wildcats off winning 25-20.
Meredith was led by freshman Abbey Gupton with 10 kills and three service aces. Cori Spade had nine kills, ten digs, one solo block and one block assist.
Meredith next hosts Averett on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Mary Baldwin at 3 p.m in a USA South tri-match.
