Lynchburg, Va. - The Meredith (5-2-1) soccer team traveled to Lynchburg on Wednesday to take on the #5 South Atlantic ranked team. The Hornets took the game 3-0.

The game remained scoreless for the first 21 minutes until Lynchburg (5-2-2) scored the eventual game winner. Lynchburg out shot Meredith 31 to six.

Meredith next hosts Shenandoah on Saturday at 4 p.m.
