Soccer - Sept. 28
Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference released their player of the week awards. Alex Calvert was named the USA South Women's Soccer Player of the Week. This is Calvert's second time being named to the award this season. Meredith is coming off of a 5-1 victory over Piedmont on Saturday and a 5-1-1 start on the season.

Alex Calvert, Meredith - The Wilson, North Carolina junior midfielder two goals in a 5-1 victory over Piedmont in the team's only action of last week. Calvert opened the scoring in the 11th minute with her first goal. She added her second tally of the match in the 40th minute, giving the Avenging Angels a 3-1 lead.
