Cross Country - Sept. 26
Greensboro, N.C. - The Meredith Cross Country team ran well and improved their times at the Greensboro XC Invitational 5k event. The team finished first in Division III and had a great showing against the Division I and II teams.

Meagan Thompson led all Meredith runners with a college personal best time of 21:22 and finishing 31st out of 127 runners across all divisions. Megan Beebe was close behind with a 36th place finish and a time of 21:43. Other times for Meredith were Karen Chung (22:46), Katelyn Thacker (22:59), Katie Helms (23:22), Lauren Habermehl (23:50), Maggie Crifasi (23:54), Joyce McLeod (24:23), Chelsea Best (24:59), Samantha Ramsdell (26:16) and Aleigha Page (26:32).

Meredith next runs in a local meet in Cary, N.C. in the Great American XC Festival at WakeMed Soccer Park on Friday October 2. Projected start time is 3:30 p.m.
