Volleyball - Sept. 19
Ferrum, Va. - The Meredith volleyball team traveled to Ferrum, Va. to play in their first conference tri-match of the year. Meredith lost in the first match 3-0 to Christopher Newport and 3-1 to host Ferrum.

In the first match against Christopher Newport, the Captains held Meredith in check with the Avenging Angels only having 16 kills. Meredith showed a much better effort in the match against Ferrum. The Avenging Angels took the third set winning 21-25. Meredith was led in kills with ten each from Morgan White and Cori Spade.

Meredith next travels to Danville on Sunday to play in another conference tri-match against Mary Baldwin and Averett.
