Soccer - Sept. 12
Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Meredith soccer team staged the greatest comeback in school history, defeating Bridgewater 4-3. The Avenging Angels erased a two goal deficit in the last eight minutes to take the win and hand the Eagles their first loss.

At the eighty-two minute mark, Alex Calvert scored two goals to tie the game up. Calvert scored her first goal on a penalty kick and her second on a breakaway assisted by Knight. With four minutes remaining, Freshman Hannah Garrison scored the game winner on an assist from Maggie Hart.
