Volleyball - Sept. 12
Emory, Va. - The Meredith volleyball team gained a 1-3 record at the Emory & Henry 35th Annual Volleyball tournament. The Avenging Angels earned a win over Randolph on Saturday and hard fought loses to Roanoke, Eastern Mennnonite and host Emory & Henry.

Emily Anderson was named to the all tournament team.

Roanoke defeats Meredith (3-0) 25-19, 25-18, 25-22
Eastern Mennonite defeats Meredith (3-1) 26-16, 18-25, 25-15, 25-9

Saturday, Sept. 12
Meredith defeats Randolph (3-1), 25-19, 21-25, 25-14, 25-16
Emory & Henry defeats Meredith (3-0), 25-7, 25-15, 25-16
