Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Meredith Avenging Angels soccer team gained their third shut out on the year, downing Bluefield College 4-0.

Meredith got on the board twice late in the first half. Carrie Talbert beat the keeper on an assist from Emmy Errante. Two minutes later as the half ran out, Emmy Errante scored on an assist from Hannah Garrison. The goal was Errante's second on the year.

The Avenging Angels then scored two more in the second half. Kristy Knight scored her third goal on the season on an assist from Jessie Breazeale. Alex Calvert finished the scoring for Meredith off a corner kick from Annah Kane.

Meredith returns to action on Saturday in their last match in the tournament at N.C. Wesleyan as they face Bridgewater (Va.).
