Raleigh, N.C. - In the first match of the day for Meredith (3-2), the Avenging Angels defeated Agnes Scott 3-1. Meredith was led by Mallory Booker with 14 kills and seven digs. Morgan White added 12 kills, 14 digs and seven service aces. Rebecca Yow had 26 sets and 10 service aces. MaryBeth Finegan had 18 digs.

The second match saw Meredith host Brenau. The Golden Tigers held Meredith in check in the first two sets. The Avenging Angels showed some grit in the third holding leads several times. White led the team in kills with nine.

The Avenging Angels finished the tournament 3-1 on the weekend. Meredith next hosts Guilford on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Weatherspoon Gymnasium.
