Raleigh, N.C. - Meredith (2-1) took two wins in their opening matches in the Meredith Matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Avenging Angels defeated Spelman 3-1 in the opening match. Morgan White led the way with 13 kills and five digs. Mallory Booker and Caroline Cobb both had eight kills.

Meredith then took the floor for the second time of the day against Salem College and defeated them in four sets. Booker and White combined with 37 kills.

Meredith next plays on Sunday at 1 p.m. as they take on Agnes Scott at 1 p.m. and Brenau at 5 p.m.
