Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith Avenging Angels (1-0-1) and Salem Spirits (1-0-1) played to a 0-0, two overtime tie in the opening game in the Meredith Matchup. Meredith had more shots on goal than Salem with a 21-5 advantage.

Meredith next plays Agnes Scott on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex.
