Soccer/Cross Country - Aug. 28
Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex has received the final touches as the large Daktronics scoreboard was installed on Friday, August 28.

The official grand opening of Meredith College’s new athletic field and track complex is on September 1, 2009. This will be a celebration of Meredith’s investment in its athletics programs that includes the Avenging Angels in the season’s first cross country meet and first soccer game.

The Meredith Student Athlete Advisory Committee is collecting can food for their annual USA South Cans for the Conference competition. The admission to the event is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring canned foods.

5:00 p.m. - Meredith Avenging Angels Cross Country Meet vs. Peace College
6:30 p.m. – Dedication and Official Opening Ceremony
7:00 p.m. - Meredith Avenging Angels Soccer vs. Guilford College
