Soccer - Aug. 11
Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex is now complete and ready for the soccer team to take the field for practice on Saturday. All of Meredith's athletic teams will use the facility for conditioning and training.

Please join Meredith College at the grand opening events at the Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex. All are invited to join us for the season’s first soccer game and cross country meet on September 1, 2009. The Meredith soccer team is set to defend their 2008 USA South Women's Soccer Tournament Championship and NCAA bid.

The exceptional facility is a symbol of a new era for athletics at Meredith College. Six Meredith athletic teams participate in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and in 2007, joined the USA South Athletic Conference. The new athletic field with its artificial surface is capable of supporting soccer and lacrosse teams, and is another way that “Meredith says every day that women matter … in the classroom, as athletes and as leaders.” For more information on the facility, please visit the complex information page.
