Soccer - June 18
Raleigh, N.C. – Meredith Soccer Coach Paul Smith announced his incoming class of recruits. The class will bolster their already strong roster and place Meredith in contention to defend their 2008 USA South Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship.

The 2009 Meredith Avenging Angels soccer team opens their season at the new Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex under the lights as they host Guilford College at 7 p.m. on September 1. The Avenging Angels are coming off their first-ever USA South Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship with a 3-1 victory over Christopher Newport. With the victory, Meredith earned their second NCAA tournament appearance in the last three years.
