Raleigh, N.C. – May 14Meredith Head Tennis Coach Kelly Weaver has been selected to participate in the LIVESTRONG Day tennis exhibition events at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Weaver will be matched with a professional or another former collegiate player in mixed doubles competition.
The LIVESTRONG Day event will be both a community awareness gathering and fundraiser, will feature a health fair, barbeque, live music and roving tennis matches throughout the day. Attendees will also be offered LIVESTRONG and American Cancer Society wristbands during the event. The event will run from 4 – 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
