The USA South Athletic Conference released their women's tennis player of the week awards. Ashley Pearsall earned the USA South Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week. The Meredith tennis team finished with a conference record of 8-1 and are headed to the USA South Athletic Conference tournament in Burlington, N.C. on April 17 as the number two seed.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Ashley Pearsall, Meredith - The Rocky Mount, North Carolina freshman went 3-0 in both singles and doubles action last week, all versus USA South competition, for the Avenging Angels. Pearsall earned one singles victory at the number three position against Peace, while her other two solo wins came at the number four spot over Methodist and Ferrum. In doubles action, Pearsall teamed with Brooke Baird to earn the three victories at the number two spot.
