Fayetteville, N.C. - Feb. 25The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for Women's Basketball. A total of 31 student-athletes have been named to the USA South All-Conference teams.
Meredith was led by Brittany Cornelius who earned third team honors. Cornelius (Rockwell, N.C./ East Rowan High School) finished the season averaging 15.4 points and seven rebounds per game. She also passed the 1,000 career point milestone during the season and finishes her junior year as the Meredith's sixth all-time scorer with 1,095.
The USA South also recognizes an All-Sportsmanship Team, consisting of one member from each competing school. Hunter Johnson (Washington, N.C./ Pungo Christian Academy) was named Meredith's representative.
