Brittany Cornelius surpassed the 1,000 point career mark scoring 13 on the night. Cornelius ended the night with 1,001 points. She is now the seventh all time leading scorer in Meredith history.

The Meredith and Peace basketball teams faced off on Monday night to end their regular season cross town series. Peace took the game winning 57-38 after holding a seven point lead at halftime.

Meredith was led by Cornelius with 13. Hunter Johnson added seven points. Kristin Stewart led the way on the boards with nine.

Meredith next travels to N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
