The Avenging Angel and Pacer basketball teams continued their heated cross-town rival on Thursday night. In a hard fought contest, Peace took the victory with 73-60 win. Meredith led by as many as five points to start the game. Peace held a 38-30 halftime advantage.

Meredith was led by Megan Rahn with 16 points and seven rebounds. Kristin Stewart had 13 points and five rebounds. Brittany Cornelius added 10 points and six rebounds. Mary Woessner (pictured) added a perfect shooting night going 4-4 from the field and 1-1 at the foul line. Woessner ended up with nine points and six rebounds.

Meredith next hosts Averett on Tuesday January 27 at 7 p.m.
