education
As
a future art educator, I want to share my passion for art with my students
as they create, explore and use problem solving skills in a variety of mediums.
I will strive for my students to use their own creativity and individuality
to create compositions that represent and reflect who they are. Teaching art
has been one of my life-long goals because it will provide me an opportunity
to be creative and produce my own artwork, while educating and inspiring students
to be the best artists they can be.
My artwork reflects my love and appreciation for my family and nature, which is represented by my use of organic shapes and colors. I love to observe nature, which stems from growing up in Wyoming. Nature and my surroundings have provided me with an endless amount of inspiration and resources for my artistic creations. I continue to grow and evolve personally, artistically, professionally, and embrace new challenges, which is reflected throughout my artwork.
