Ever
since I was little I slept with a sketchbook in my nightstand. My creative
ideas come to me before I fall asleep. I do a quick sketch in bed and wake
up the next morning ready to make the sketch into a work of art.
My love for art led me to become an art educator. This has given me the opportunity to explore many different mediums. I love using my hands and to feel the medium I am working with.
I am intrigued by nature. From hiking in the mountains to walking on the beach, I tend to notice how things grow and change over time. Being in tune with nature helps me to create unique organic forms in my artwork. Another key element in my life that drives my artistic creative is my strong family ties and exploring my forgotten Italian heritage. Using my memories as a foundation of my artwork, I generate a personal connection to each work of art.
