art
education
One
of the greatest things about becoming an art educator is the constant opportunity
to learn. I am continuously learning with the discovery of new mediums, experiences,
and ideas. However, I truly feel I learn the most when I am teaching others.
The majority of my work tells the viewer a story. I like to think of my work as my statement to the world; a way for me to explore myself and the world around me. I am constantly using art as a way to reflect and work through my own emotions. I tend to notice the little things all around and often feel that these are the things that matter the most. I truly believe that there is a great deal of beauty found through simplicity.
I choose to live my life as both an independent artist and a teacher, and I hope that I never forget the importance of being both.
