As
a graphic designer I work with clients and solve problems to fit their needs.
I am particularly interested in print media and layout design. I am also
intrigued by the demands of web design and programming. With the growing
prominence of the internet it is increasingly important for an organizations'
brand identity to extend between both print and interactive media.
Reflection
is a key theme in my photography and digital imaging. I have a tendency
to over analyze experiences, and by reflecting on my life and feelings,
I enable myself to work through my emotions in my art. For example, my reflecting
box allowed me to emotionally deal with my grandpa's battle with cancer
and my refusal to admit that I may lose him. My honors thesis is a culminating
body of work that ties both the act of mentally reflecting with physical
reflections in glass, water, and other surfaces.
