Cassandra Johnson
I have since ventured from photography into a variety of other artistic media. I often create works that illustrate quirky, whimsical places. My travels to Spain’s metropolis have enormously influenced my vibrant interpretation of cityscapes and patterns created from simple repetitive lines. Likewise, the Spanish countryside has influenced my designs when painting on a canvas. Incorporating my love for the Spanish language into much of my art has opened doors into the world of mixed media and my newfound love for small-scale illustration. Lately, I incorporate my time in Spain into almost every project that I embark on. It seems that my artwork only becomes stronger and more reminiscent as I continue combining my adventure-seeking past, my starkly realistic present, and my anticipation for travels yet to come. |
