Rental agreements are for 3 terms. The apartment rental fee is included in the cost of attendance at Meredith, and will be considered when determining financial assistance packages for students for each term enrolled.

The apartment building consists of 48 units each containing four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and 30 units containing two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms are designed for single occupancy.

Each apartment includes a living/dining area, a kitchen with full-sized appliances, and a washer and dryer. Rent fees cover the cost of apartment rent, all utilities, internet access, trash/recycling service and local phone service.

2012-2013 Apartment Rental Fees

2 bedroom/2 bathroom units
$4040 per person per semester (Fall and Spring terms)
$1616 per person for summer (Summer term: Enrollment in summer school is not required, however, Tenant is responsible for rent payment.)

4 bedroom/2 bathroom units
$3425 per person per semester (Fall and Spring terms)
$1370 per person for summer (Summer term: Enrollment in summer school is not required, however, Tenant is responsible for rent payment.)

There are three billing cycles corresponding with each term: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Rent charges for the Fall and Spring shall be included along with tuition and other institutional charges on Tenant's statement of account. 

a. The first charge for Fall semester rent shall be made in advance of the Fall semester.

b. The second charge, representing the Spring semester rent, shall be made in advance of the Spring semester.

Rent charges for the Summer term is a separate billing cycle and will be charged to the Tenant's statement of account prior to June 1 and is due on June 1.
